Review & Giveaway: The Handy Answer Book for Kids

>> December 03, 2009

Thank you Lisa from Online Publicist for sending this book to me. Receiving this book in the mail brought great memories to the surface. My son loved reading trivia/reference books when he was young, looking at the photos and discussing an animal, planet, monument etc... I would love to keep this book but I know so many people with young children who will benefit from this book - it would be a great gift (and free for you) or maybe a book to keep on table in your family room.

Book Giveaway: Leave a comment with your email address if you would like to enter the book giveaway. I will select a winner next Weds, Dec 9.

Quick Take: I simply love this book. It’s so colorful and has quick tabs at the top of each page to specify the category (ie: How things work, Plant Life).

When I received this book I placed it on the coffee table in my family room - my husband started reading it, my son wanted to keep it (and he's in college)!

Type: Reference, 292 pages, Paperback

Synopsis: Kids ask the darnest things… and here are the answers – all in one helpful book! Written with a child’s imagination in mind, this easy-to-understand book permits kids to help themselves because it’s organized by simple topical chapters: outer space; planet earth and our moon; creatures big and small; plant life; people around the world; politics and government; how things work; math, measurement and time; all about my body. Why do dogs bark? Why is the sky blue? Why do people grow old?
