Happy Holiday's!

Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas everyone!

Family: Our son is home for winter break and I'm happy to say he's doing fantastic! Looks healthy (last year he came home very thin), and loves school. We are SO proud of the man he's becoming.

The World Traveler is home.  My house is full!

While the World Traveler wraps up a few things at work (before taking a few days off)... I have been enjoying every single minute of time with our son.  We have been shopping, to the movies, dining out, baking, cooking, prepping for Christmas Eve/Day meals...and watching more movies at the 'drive in' (the golf simulator).

He and I spent time yesterday at the bookstore... a dangerous place for both of us.  Ordering a cup of tea, reading, buying...

Today I plan to wrap gifts while watching Christmas Vacation (one of my favorites), get in a run (it's 55 degrees out), take a nap and read.  A perfect day!

Wish List: Having my family together for the holiday's is plenty for me but if I'm making a list... filled with things in and out of reach... here are a few things I might enjoy:

- a trip to Paris
- iPad: so I don't have to share my husband's work iPad
- new running shoes
- a new watch: I love this Omega but it's $11,000... a girl can dream!
- Lotions and potions: always a favorite gift for me!

My list tells a story, other than new running shoes... I really don't need or want anything.  I'm blessed with a wonderful family, a lovely home, good health, and a life filled with adventure.  My cup is overflowing.

Confession: I am going to Paris in January :)

Reading: I finished Carrie Goes Off the Map last night. Next up: The Ruins of Us.  I haven't had a minute to myself so I haven't started The Story of a Beautiful Girl, this may wait until January.

I will be online over the next week, reading, commenting, sharing... but I'm not sure if I will post anything new.  Instead, you might find me at the spa (I have a gift certificate to use)... or working on a puzzle, reading, touring ghost homes, taking a day in the city, skiing (if the temps drop), hiking, exploring, napping... simply enjoying my family.

From my family to yours, we wish you and your family a safe, joyful holiday!
