CHECKpoint! Feb 28

>> February 27, 2012

Just a quick post this week, I have been looking forward to today for a week and should know the full extent of my injury today.

Once I have this information I can re-evaluate and set new goals.  Imagine the changes that are in store for me... at the top of the list will be how to continue my fitness routine in a 'gentle yet challenging' way.  The easy answer is yoga... let's hope I don't have to take a yoga break.

Have you had a fitness injury?  How did you stay motivated?

Nutrition/Diet: I'm holding firm with shifting to meals under 300 calories, and several 100 calorie options available for snacking. I finally made it to the grocery store, the frig is full with fruit, veggies, and Naked Juice (one of my favorites).

This week: Five days of cardio (60 minutes/session), and three yoga classes.  As luck as it, we just bought an eliptical for the house.  So now I have options: Go to the gym or workout at home (treadmill, eliptical, free weights, total gym, yoga gear).  No Excuses!

Tell me, how was your fitness last week? Were you able to find time to workout, or go for a hike?

This is a weekly post through the Tough Mudder in May (maybe longer). Leave a comment with an update on your week or leave your blog/post link below. I will cheer you on! Non-fitness buffs... come cheer us on!
